GABBY DOUGLAS and GABY HILL discuss their recent Olympic experiences, including how they have changed their lives, and their role on the popular hit show, Northshore.
In this interview, the former Olympians are asked about the impact of the recent terrorist attacks in France, what it was like to win the Olympic medal at the London Games, and what their role in the show meant to them.
The girls also discuss their friendship with Gaby and their plans to make their way in the entertainment industry.
GABBÉDOUGLASS: “The Olympics are very personal to me.
I’m a big believer in it and I love it.
I have a passion for it.
So for me it was a big deal for me to win, to be a part of that.
And I’m so grateful to everyone who helped me out.
And for all of the people who supported me.
For all of you who have supported me on the show, especially Gaby.”
GABELYN: “It was really hard for me.
It was hard to be away from the kids.
And it was hard.
And at the same time I feel like it’s been an awesome experience, but I just can’t stop thinking about what I can do for my family and friends.”
GARY: “I feel very lucky.
I’ve had so much support.
And that’s why I’ve done this and I just want to continue to do it.
It’s like a dream come true.
It means so much to me to be able to give back to my country and the people that have supported us, to the people in my life that I love, that are my family.
And so it’s just an incredible feeling.”
