The Utah Gymnasiums “Uncle Bill” video has been pulled from Netflix.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the school confirmed that the video had been removed due to “security reasons.”
The school did not provide details on how the video was removed.
The video features the first ever “Uncles Bill” dance for the team, a tradition that began when the school first started training for the 2018 World Gymnastic Championships.
The first-ever dance for a team was also performed by the Utah Gym, in which athletes are forced to “bend” a piece of plywood with their arms.
“The ‘Uncles’ Bill Dance,” as it was dubbed on social media, had already been shown to critics, who called it “tacky” and “embarrassing.”
The dance had been featured on the YouTube channel of the University of Utah Gym and has received more than 1.8 million views.
The Utah School of Mines and Technology in Utah, which has been a pioneer in the development of the sport of gymnastics, had also announced plans to incorporate “Un-bills” into the 2020-21 season.
