Auburn has been forced to cancel a game with Alabama after the team suffered an injury to a gymnast in a triple play.
The gymnast suffered a broken left ankle and was taken to a local hospital, according to the Associated Press.
Coach Chris Mack has said the injury occurred during a routine block practice at Auburn’s gym.
“As a team, we are very concerned with the safety of our gymnasts and our coaches,” Mack said in a statement.
Alabama will host Auburn at 3 p.m.
ET on Saturday.
